The Ferndale Holiday Giving Store
The Ferndale Holiday Giving Store program began in 2003 to brighten the holidays for children of low-income families within the Ferndale School District boundaries. The Holiday Giving Store is set up just like a store, but no money is ever exchanged. Gifts are free to families that qualify. Volunteers stock the store with a variety of popular gifts and toys of the season and warm clothing like pajamas and sweatshirts are available for parents or guardians to choose for each child.
We rely on the generosity of Ferndale residents, local businesses, and churches to help stock our store. We are especially grateful to the Haggen Season of Giving Campaign and shoppers in Ferndale who donate over $10,000 annually to the Store! Through these generous donations, we were able to help over 600 of Ferndale’s children in 2024. We appreciate the ongoing generosity of our great community.
The Holiday Giving Store application is now closed. Our 2025 program is full. If your family still needs assistance, please contact the Community Resource Center for information about additional programs.
La solicitud para la Tienda de Regalos Navideños ya está cerrada. Nuestro programa para 2025 está completo. Si su familia aún necesita ayuda, comuníquese con el Centro de Recursos Comunitarios para obtener información sobre otros programas.
