Bridge 2 Services- People Helping People

Bridge 2 Services is a mobile outreach program that bridges people to the organizations and services they need.  Many of the people we work with have had trust broken, have gotten stuck in a rut, or are feeling hopeless.  We provide encouragement and support, valuing and validating each person. Focusing on our unhoused neighbors, B2S locates individuals and families, understands needs, delivers basic triage supplies, and builds relationships to move toward longer term outcomes.   Simple actions like providing warm clothing, fresh water, food, and listening are the building blocks of a trusting relationship that can change lives.

Bridge 2 Services was founded in 2020 as a grassroots operation powered by dedicated volunteers. In 2023, we joined forces with Ferndale Community Services to extend outreach to the rural parts of Whatcom County.  Now, we serve all of Whatcom County and partner with many other service providers to help individuals and families find a pathway forward.

Services We Provide

We can help with:

– Basic triage supplies like water, snacks, clothing, hygiene items.

– Camping supplies like tents, sleeping bags, tarps, blankets (for unhoused campers).

– Listening to stories and experiences.

– Making connections to needed services like housing, medical assessments, substance treatment, case management and more.

Ways You Can Help

We can’t do any of this work without the generous support of community members!  Consider:

– Donating items like camping gear, warm clothing, unopened hygiene items, snack foods, bottled water.

– Making a financial donation and consider a recurring donation. Even a small monthly amount really helps!

– Volunteering your time to help us on the ground or behind the scenes.

Your donations keep us going!

Thank you for donating to keep Bridge 2 Services on the ground and in the world. Your support can change lives!
