There are several ways to support our programs and services
Make a tax deductible donation. If you want your donation to be designated for a specific program, just choose a program from the “Designate your gift” drop down.
We use a donation platform called GiveButter. GiveButter doesn’t charge fees to non-profits (except for credit card processing fees) which means more of your donation goes to us. They do provide the option to leave a tip, which is how they cover their expenses and provide the service for free.
Consider sponsoring an event in 2026! Our Events team has put together a wonderful calendar of community events and fundraisers to build awareness and support for FCS programs. Check out the letter below to learn how you can become a sponsor.
Consider making a material donation. We appreciate our very generous community, who donate thousands of pounds of supplies annually! We accept the following donated items:
- New or like new clothing, shoes, coats, and accessories for men, women, and children
- New or like new bedding, blankets, and sleeping bags
- Limited housewares: plates, cups, silverware
- Halloween costumes and limited holiday decorations
- Unused, unopened hygiene items full size and travel size
- Non-perishable food items (ready to eat, snack items are best)
- Backpacks
- Cold weather supplies like hand warmers, warm coats, hats, gloves, etc.
- New toys and items appropriate for Christmas gifts for the Holiday Giving Store (seasonal)
- Office supplies
- And of course, monetary donations are accepted and GREATLY appreciated. This allows us to purchase things like gas vouchers, bus passes, laundry tokens, and other support services for community members. Please use the PayPal link above to donate
